Pinkfresh Studio August Release Blog Hop
What better way to kick off a new week than with a blog hop celebrating a new Pinkfresh Studio stamp and die release?! That's what we're doing today, so be sure to join in the excitement by checking out all the wonderful projects and products. There is always much fun to be had during these hops, and lots of opportunities to win prizes. If you've arrived here from the lovely Norine's blog, welcome! I've provided some links and info here in my post, but the entire list of participating blogs, as well as all the new product details can be found on the Pinkfresh blog HERE.
There are quite a few new things this month and one of my favorites is the Leafy Envelope die. As you can see, I created a handful of tags with it, using both Pinkfresh Washi tapes, as well as paper from the Just a Little Lovely collection. I threw in some Essentials dies, too, and chose all my sentiments from today's release.
I started by die cutting the envelope out of some JALL 6x6 papers, exclusively choosing the watercolored designs. This gave them colorful details, and in some cases, an ombre effect. The only envelope that is not paper is the one that is purple and teal. That is actually cut from white cardstock covered in Rainbow washi tape.
With the help of the Adorable Frame washi tape, I created a backer for 3 of the envelopes. The rounded die in Pretty Frames came in handy here. I covered more white cardstock with the washi, then die cut the frames.
I was so excited to see a new 'Beautiful' die in the release today--it's a word that I use so often on projects, especially when they're made for dear friends and family. I cut it from gold glitter paper to use on the two longer tags; they are also stitched on.
My other sentiments are stamped and embossed in gold. You'll find 'hello friend' and 'grateful for you' in the gorgeous Delicate Wreath set, while 'sending joy and love' is created from Floral Vase stamps.
There's a mini wood clothespin with glitter detail attached to each tag for clipping to packages or gift bags.
Thanks for stopping by today! You're on to Tae Eun's blog next--I always love to see what she creates! If you get lost, you can always circle back to the Pinkfresh Studio blog where they've got the entire list of hop participants. Before you go, here's a little more info on those prizes and shop specials...
