Pinkfresh Studio 5th Birthday Blog Hop Celebration
Hello all! We're here to celebrate Pinkfresh Studio's 5th Birthday today! Woo-hoo!!!! I've been on the team for such a long time--not quite since the very beginning, but real close--and it's been such a huge honor to have been a part of Kinnari's incredible journey. I'm so grateful to her and so happy for her.
(If you're looking for the Stamp Market April Release Blog Hop post, you can find it here.)
The team is celebrating with a blog hop today, and there are some special guests, as well, so there's a lot for you to see and do. If you've come from Adela's amazing blog, welcome! As always, with PF hops, there are many prizes so be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom of the post for complete details.
It might seem strange, but I didn't actually make birthday cards for this hop. I was instead inspired by all of the positive messages that Pinkfresh has put out through their many collections and stamp sets. Following dreams, being proud of and happy with yourself, enjoying life through its many ups and downs...those themes are heavy hitters with each release and I wanted to touch on that encouragement in my projects.
Both of my cards today feature papers and embellishments from the new Joyful Day line, as well as the Circle Frame with Botanicals die.
The first card features Big Ideas from the 6x6 pad as the background, and the circle frame die is cut out of Big Ideas again (the reverse). It definitely follows the trend of those beautiful floral wreaths from the paper.
I kept the cards simple, highlighting the encouraging sentiment, 'enjoy today' in its cute yellow frame, backed with a periwinkle hexagon.
In the lower left corner is a trio of sweet elements--a puffy sticker branch and blossom, and a yellow bow. Simple and sweet--hmm, that reminds me of a past PF collection!
The next card follows the same regimen, with a layer of Being Us paper and a botanical circle frame cut from plain white card stock. This is one of my most favorite background papers from Joyful Day--it's SO pretty!
My sentiment here is 'hello new day' which is from the ephemera pack and bordered in yellow.
The cluster of elements is on the lower right this time, featuring a periwinkle sticker, a yellow flower, and a pretty pink bow which matches the background paper. I also added just a hint of navy seam binding to bring in some texture.
Thanks for popping in today! You're on to Erum's blog next, and she never disappoints! If you get lost, you can always circle back to the Pinkfresh Studio blog where they've got the entire list of hop participants. Before you go, here's a little more info on those prizes and shop specials...
There will be (3) Grand Prizes picked from the Pinkfresh blog: A full set of Liquid Watercolors, a set of the 3 current paper collections, and the entire April Essentials die release (which will be releasing Monday, April 8th, and it's awesome!) Each blog on the hop will be giving away a $25 gift card and the winners will be picked from the comments, so be sure to leave some love along your journey today!
*Winners will be picked and posted on Sunday, April 14th, on the Pinkfresh Studio GIVEAWAY PAGE. You must check that page & claim your prize within 2 weeks.
There will also be two shopping promos during the celebration:
First is a free die (XO word) with purchase. There is no code necessary, and the die will automatically load into your cart while supplies last.
Second, PF will be offering free/discounted shipping from April 5-7th on orders $25+. You must use the code FREESHIP5THBDAY. Shipping is free in the USA, and $5.50 off for International friends.
