The Stamp Market Color Release Blog Hop

Hello hello!  I'm popping in for another blog hop today--this one to celebrate the exciting release of September Stamp Market products.  This is their biggest release ever and it includes the Color Crush products, which have been highly anticipated.  At the end of my post, I'll provide the list of talent for this hop so you can get the maximum amount of inspiration today!

I'm highlighting a few different products today, but this is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of what's coming out.  **I do have to sadly note that the Color Crush cardstock is not yet available.  It was delayed but you can opt to be notified of its arrival on The Stamp Market website. **

This feels like such a celebratory day so I sort of chose that theme with my 2 cards.  The first one features the new Happy Birthday Cover Die and its matching It's Your Birthday bundle.  I didn't actually use the cover die as a cover, but rather cut out the letters in different cardstocks and adhered them over a stenciled background.  The stencil is new, too, and I've used it with a blending brush and Bubble Gum ink.

The 'wishes' die cut was stamped in Sweet Blush (that's the It's Your Birthday set).  There are a few white flowers from the Ready to Bloom Cover die--this is definitely one of my favorite items releasing this month!  All the colors on this card make it feel authentically The Stamp Market--I love that this entire card was made with TSM products, from the stamps and dies to the ink and paper!

My second card features most of the same products, mostly unintentionally!  I have several other projects in progress, but these were the two that progressed to fruition!  (Tell me that happens to you, as well?)  I had some extra letters from the Birthday Cover die and had cut out the Ready to Bloom florals for a different project, but ended up using it here.  I liked the idea of the D-A-Y coming out of the flowers.  'It's your' is from the It's Your Birthday set; I stamped it in Melon Orange ink, then die cut it a couple extra times from Melon Orange and Sea Glass stock.

Behind the Bubble Gum pink panel is a stenciled 'hello' background that I also created for something else, but ended up using it here.  I added a little bit of lace and some pale pink sequins for texture.

A handful of half-finished projects means I'll be sharing a bunch all month and I don't mind a bit--there are so many awesome new things so it's a pleasure :)

You can find all of the new stamps and dies, as well as the Color Crush array HERE.  Again, the cardstock is not available just yet, but I know Amy's working on it!  (I've got to get some more, too!)  And don't forget to visit my amazing friends on this hop! XOXO
