Blog Hop Order:
There is so much to love about today's release--of course I'm loving all the incredible new stamps and dies, but I am super-duper excited for the arrival of the new papers and stickers for memory keepers, journalers, and cardmakers alike--the Miss Modern product line. Patterned paper--especially The Stamp Market patterned paper--is gorgeous and I turn to it often when I want to make quick projects. (Although none of my projects today turned out to be 'quick' projects-hahaha!) I absolutely love having matching inks and stamps to go with the pretty papers.
Being that this is a birthday blog hop, I HAD to create some packages, so I used the Pillow Box die with some new papers and then assembled a mix of stamped/die cut and paper elements to dress up the boxes.
Melon Orange with Blush Pink is one of my favorite color combos so I was happy to see them together in the 12 x 12 paper designs. I've been using a lot of Emerald Isle green lately and the 3 hues are beautiful together to make up the small Modern Floral that highlights the tag set. You'll also find a new set of nice bold sans serif stamp messages in the release. It's called Modern Messages and it's embossed here in Rose Gold embossing powder.
My second box has a few more decorations on it and features lots of TSM colors. The base of the decor is snips from one of the paper sheets--cut them down to use as tags, journal cards or extra layers. The leaves are found in the new Birthday Balloons stamp set. I stamped them in several colors and cut them out to feather in around the package.
There are a couple of new alpha stamps in this month's release--Alpha Cuts and Mini Alpha Cuts. It's a great concept--you stamp the entire sheet of alphas (there are multiples of each), then use a coordinating die to cut them all out at once! I used the Mini Alpha Cuts in Cherry Kisses ink, then spelled my sister's name on a small tag.
I have one last project before I leave you--a bright birthday card that also features some of the new papers and the Birthday Balloons set. Nothing says 'Happy Birthday' like a couple of big balloons in happy colors! Even the little 'YAY' stamp is new--from a pack of Miss Modern stickers--woo-hoo, stickers, too!!!
A couple things before I go:
- There's a special offer for you so that you can celebrate The Stamp Market's 3rd birthday, too...
