Ink to Paper :: December Release :: Day 3

It's Friday--I'm in love!  There are gorgeous new sets to look at today on Day 3 of the Ink to Paper December release--a few more hearts and a lot of love is coming your way!

I pulled out the Raspberry Fizz to use on both of my cards for today's introductions.  It's funny how color phases come and go (at least for me).  I used to use RF on practically every project I ever made...and then my usage slowly tapered off until I stopped using it altogether in favor of Sweet Blush.  Now I use SB on nearly everything, but I'm slowly seeing RF coming back into play.  So the moral of the story is: HOARD EVERYTHING and NEVER THROW ANYTHING AWAY!!!

I digress...First up, take a peek at these pretty, design-filled hearts in I Heart You.  I cut out the detailed hearts and left the cuts in place (just taped in place on the back of each heart so they don't fall out).  I stamped and embossed a couple of smaller hearts, too, then arranged the group in overlapping waves.

My 'love' sentiment is part of the To Die For: Love die collection (which you NEED in your life!), cut from pale pink glitter cardstock.  I added a cute little phrase, 'love is in the air' which is part of the mini Just Sentiments: Valentine set.  I love the pairing of the pinks with the Dark Indigo patterned paper.  Both of today's cards feature bold color pairings.

Supplies:
Stamps: I Heart You, Just Sentiments: Valentine
Ink: Watermark
Paper: Raspberry Fizz, Sweet Blush, pink glitter cardstock, Dark Indigo Bitty Big
Dies: I Heart You, To Die For: Love
Other: rose gold embossing powder

Next up is On the Border: From the Heart, of which I used the beautiful, large center heart as my focal point.  The center heart cuts 3 different pieces; I used the inner and outer ones in Raspberry Fizz, and layered them on a full heart of pink glitter paper so the middle frame shows through as pink sparkles.

'Love', 'Heart', and 'You' are the chosen words in the To Die For: Love dies.  This series has become one of my favorite die sets and I love to use them!   I paired the 'you' with a heat embossed 'are my favorite' from I Heart You, masking off the 'you' that's a part of it and replacing them with a couple of small hearts from All About You.

Supplies:
Stamps: I Heart You
Ink: watermark
Paper: Raspberry Fizz, Sweet Blush, Lilac Grace, pink glitter cardstock, Honey Nut Bitty Big
Dies: On the Border: From the Heart, To Die For: Love, Banner Builder: Basics, I Heart You, All About You

So much to love in today's introductions and you'll find much more eye candy on the Ink to Paper blog via the Design Team!  Save the date for the 15th at 10pm EST when the latest products go live in the ITP shop!  What are you loving in this release so far?
