Ink to Paper :: December Release :: Day Two

Hello again!  It's Day 2 of Ink to Paper's December release and there's more cuteness in store for you!  With more valentines up our sleeve, we're introducing a few more heart-centric sets.

Our first pairing features a new Simply Sweet addition called Sending, and to go with it today is a mini set called Critter Love, which is an add-on to the Critter Carolers from a couple of months ago.  That's why you see the little bear here on my first card.  She's sending some love your way with her cute paper airplane and little heart banner.

The banner is actually supposed to be sun rays, I think, but when I first saw this set, my mind went immediately to garland!  I think because of the way the heart rainbow pieces are set up (you can see what I mean HERE).  I maneuvered the half-sun die to cut out just the rays, turned them upside down, and added itty bitty hearts and bows to make it into a banner.  Can you believe those aren't even the tiniest hearts in this set?!  (Remember when I said yesterday that I love tiny hearts?)

Supplies:
Stamps: Simply Sweet: Sending, Critter Love, Critter Carolers, All About You
Ink: Bright Buttercup, Tropical Teal, Melon Berry, Pale Peony
Paper: Bright Buttercup, Aqua Mist, Autumn Rose, White
Dies: Simply Sweet: Sending, Critter Love, Border Bling: Tin Stitch, Border Bling: Border Frame, All About You
Other: twine, blending brush

Next up is another introduction that might seem familiar to you: Tag Creations: Delightful Hearts, which is a companion to autumn's Delightful Bunch.  You can use some of the same dies from Delightful Bunch to dress up the bucket, but the heart bucket is a new die that coordinates with them.  There's also a mini stamp set.

Two of my new products are showcased today, as well: Border Bling: Hearts and Inside Greetings: Valentine.  (Are you starting to see just how much I love tiny hearts now?!)

My heart frame border is cut out of Sweet Blush cardstock and I made the bucket from kraft cardstock, with some Hibiscus Burst and white details.

The sentiment is from the Delightful Hearts stamp set; I stamped it on a label die cut from the It's A Sign collection, and added a couple of the negative hearts from the border frame.  The front of the card is finished off with a big pink bow!

Inside is a whimsical sentiment from Inside Greetings: Valentine.  These messages are meant to be sweet so you can use them on cards for almost anyone you'd give a valentine to.

That wraps up today's projects, but we've still got 2 more days of fun before the big release on the 15th!  All new products will be available that night at 10pm EST in the Ink to Paper shop.  You'll always find gorgeous and inspiring ideas at the ITP blog, so be sure to check it out if you haven't been there already!  I'll be back with you tomorrow :)
