Ink to Paper :: March 2021 Release :: Day 3
Okay, friends, we've arrived at Day 3 of product introductions at Ink to Paper already! Who's excited?! Are you liking what you're seeing so far? We have more fun stuff to show you today and tomorrow, and then release day is the 20th, so mark your calendars for that!
Our first bit of goodness is the Dainty Deliveries Box die and a sweet mini set called Berry Best Mom. The Dainty Deliveries Box is exactly that--dainty! You'll likely want to line it with another piece of cardstock, and Ink to Paper is providing a downloadable, printable template that fits inside when you cut it out. It adds some sturdiness and makes this delicate package a bit less fussy to work with! It is very pretty, though, once it's all assembled, and the leafy floral pattern matches the Dainty Deliveries Border Bling frame from the other day, so you can make a card to accompany your package!
A couple of other tips for assembly:
1. You may want to re-score the folds of the box before you try assembling it with a score board.
2. Re-score and then do all of your folding BEFORE punching out any of the pieces around the flowers, if possible. This will also make it easier to fold the sides and flaps of the box.
I tied some ribbon around the box and added a tag for decorating it. I used the Berry Best Mom stamps and dies to dress up my tag and add some extra color to the whole ensemble. The strawberries, blueberries, and little bumblebee are so cute!
Supplies:
Stamps: Berry Best Mom
Ink: Berry Sorbet, Dark Indigo, Bright Buttercup, New Leaf, Pure Poppy
Paper: Winter Wisteria, Lilac Grace, Stamper's Select White
Dies: Dainty Deliveries Box, Berry Best Mom, Charming Tags 1, Love to Layer: Scalloped Circle
Other: Berry Sorbet grosgrain ribbon, twine
Up next is the gorgeous Enchanting Roses stamp and die set, along with Just Sentiments: Appreciation mini stamps. I love the set of roses and decided I wanted to go with some bold colors for this 4-step image, choosing Pure Poppy, Raspberry Fizz, Hibiscus Burst, and Sweet Blush. It was pretty easy to line up and stamp correctly, and that's always a relief--sometimes, even with a stamp positioning tool, I seem to keep messing it up!! Does that ever happen to you, too?!
I felt a little like keeping this card simple with a Dark Indigo striped patterned paper background. I've always loved the combination of pink and navy blue.
The sentiment fit perfectly on a rectangular frame from one of the It's a Sign die sets. Finally, a few simple sequins offered just a little bit of fancy to finish off the card.
Supplies:
Stamps: Enchanting Roses, Just Sentiments: Appreciation
Ink: Pure Poppy, Raspberry Fizz, Hibiscus Burst, Sweet Blush, New Leaf, True Black
Paper: Kraft, Stamper's Select White, Dark Indigo Bitty Big
Dies: Enchanting Roses, It's A Sign: Hanging Frames Layers
Other: confetti sequins
We have only one day left of introductions, so I'll be back with you again tomorrow! We're only a couple days away from the addition of these items to the Ink to Paper/Papertrey Ink shop, too. You'll be able to grab them at 10pm EST on the 20th. Head to the blog for a look at more beautiful projects and full details on today's stamps and dies. Thanks for hanging in there with me today!
