Ink to Paper :: October 2020 Release :: Day One

Wow, is it the 11th of the month already?!  That must mean it's time for some Ink to Paper/Papertrey Ink new releases!  There is so much to introduce for October, so I have no doubt you'll find something that sparks your interest.

We're still covering Christmas, and even have a little bit of autumn in store this month, plus some monthly staples--Feathered Friends, Just Sentiments, and Inside Greetings.  First up is an adorable set called Festive Mugs, as well as something fun for the corners of your cards, Corner It: Holly.  I used Corner It in a bit of different way to show you that it's more than just for corners!

I stamped and die cut one of the mugs, adding some cute holly leaves and berries to the handle, then used the swirl from Corner It like steam from a hot winter beverage.

The background of the card is stamped repeatedly with a tiny little flower from Festive Mugs, and I used last month's Border Bling: Fir to frame it all in.

Next up for today is a stamp set called Holiday Door Decor, and it's another pretty one that you can have lots of fun with!  I made my front door red, because I love red doors, especially at this time of year.  Mine has a white frame so it really pops against the gray woodgrain background.  These are new dies called Woodwork.  I decorated the door with a bushy wreath stamped in Aqua Mist, as well as an embossed silver door handle.

Next to the door are some pretty planters and my sentiment runs across the bottom of the door.

Opening up the card reveals a new message from Inside Greetings: Season's Greetings.  The messages this month are meant to spread cheer far and wide with a sentimental perspective.
