Ink to Paper :: January 2021 Release :: Day Two

Welcome to Day Two of the Ink to Paper/Papertrey Ink January new releases!  I'm so excited to share my projects with you today!

First up is a collection called Vintage Flair, and you'll find stamps with matching dies, as well as a full flair print stamp--you can see it very subtly, heat embossed with clear powder on the color-washed pink panel.  I wanted just the hint of it--some detail in the card background, but not enough to overwhelm.

I die cut the lantern/dome in Luxe Gold card stock and decorated it with the leaves and florals that are found in the set, choosing a pretty color palette.

The final detail was the Hello Beautiful die cut sentiment in Ocean Tides.

Up next is a big collection called Big Balloon.  There is a stamp set containing the balloon makings and dies to match, a stamp set containing just sentiments, a cover plate die (which I didn't use today), and some adorable stencils to add a little extra flair to your balloons!

I made birthday cards yesterday, so I thought I'd use the set to make a Valentine, since there's a sentiment for that, and adorable heart stencils.  I cut out a large and small balloon, using the stencil on the larger one, and stamping my sentiment on the smaller.  Then I embossed some string, tassels, ribbons, and a bow and added them to the pair of balloons.

The outside is dotted with hearts and dots from the one of the dies in the set that allows you to cut out confetti if you'd like.
