Papertrey Ink :: July 2021 Release :: Day Two

Hello and Happy Monday friends!  Welcome to Day Two of the Ink to Paper / Papertrey Ink July 2021 Release product introductions!  It's going to be another birdie-and-flowery kind of day here; hopefully that puts a little bit of cheer in your Monday routine.

Floral Paradise, featuring big tropical leaves and Birds of Paradise stalks, is sure to get you thinking about a warm climate.  I love the bold orange of the Terracotta Tile ink against the bright New Leaf and Green Parakeet hues.  The flowers are so detailed, too!

They pair perfectly with the new Vase Collection 3, and to bring out the bit of Enchanted Evening I used in the bloom, I stamped my pot in the same shade of blue.  You can use the pattern alone or with the solid background, but I was going for a vintage china look with just the blue and white, so opted not to use the solid base stamp this time.

In the background you'll find more of the paradise blooms, again stamped in that bold orange, to create my own pattern and frame, with some help from the Geometrix oval die cut.

We find our second 'bird' of the day--a real bird this time, not a floral one--in the Feathered Friends 13 die collection.  My friend is done in purples and white so that it contrasts with the busier arrangement behind it.

Stitched in Love, a floral set with stitching outlines, is what you'll see under the bird.  I die cut each piece from white cardstock, stamped them in their requisite colors, then used blending pens to add some soft color to the interior of each outlined image.

The 'hello lovely' message is from this month's Just Sentiments: Happy Hello.
