Ink to Paper :: April 2021 Release :: Day Four

It's the last day of Ink to Paper's April release introductions--that means the big day for the items to be available in the shop is tomorrow!  There are just a couple more sets to get to today, and then you're left with some big decisions--what ever will you choose to order?!

There's a sentiment set with some terrific quotes that's dedicated to Moms & Dads, the die edition of Feathered Friend 10, and a floral set called Blooming Thoughts.

My first card, featuring Mother & Father and FF 10, went through a couple of different incarnations before I pulled out the Lush Bloom set from a couple of months ago and decided on a very bright and colorful background.

The bird is subtly colored, with pops of white, leaving the sentiment in black to really stand out against the bold background.

I went the opposite way with my second card, choosing more subdued, muted tones.  This one is all about the Blooming Thoughts florals, and the sentiments have come from that set, as well.

Simple background details, like the Ocean Tides hexagon frame and the Loosely Woven pattern stamped in Classic Kraft ink on Classic Kraft cardstock highlight the orange, yellow, and purplish-pink of the blooms in front of them.
