Ink to Paper :: November 2020 Release :: Day One
Hey there, friends! It's almost November 15th and that means a new round of products will be up in the Ink to Paper shop. Introducing these products is always such a fun time during the month, and this month is no exception. I don't know about you, but it's been quite a month since I was here last--just before Halloween, we had to evacuate our house because of the imminent threat of a wildfire! In all the years I've lived in Southern California, that has never happened! It was quite an ordeal, but everything worked out; we (and our house) came out on the other side safe. 2020 has been some year, but I like to take a few moments every now and then and remember that there's still much to be thankful for amidst the chaos, uncertainty, and stress of it all. I hope you and yours are safe and healthy as we approach the holidays.
Now, let's get onto the introductions and projects! First up is the Winter Woodlands collection. You can create a pretty wintry scene with trees and lights and snow drifts...it's a really cool idea! I added a bright red deer to my scene; it's from the Deer to Me set, which is also new this month. As you can see, I opted to stamp these images in a more artful color scheme, rather that true to nature!
Supplies:
Stamps: Winter Woodlands, Deer to Me
Ink: Autumn Rose, Ocean Tides, Pure Poppy, Watermark

I have to confess that I love any set that offers small florals and foliage, and in addition to the beautiful deer images, Deer to Me offers several of them. The deer, if you'll notice, are detailed with embossed woodgrain lines, and you can stamp the deer, as I did on the first card, or leave them be, which is just as stunning. I cut mine from white paper and stamped only their antlers with True Black ink. In the background, you'll notice more woodgrain, stamped on the Sweet Blush card; these are from the Wood Chips mini set, and they come with matching dies, too.
The frame around the card is a new Border Bling die, entitled Believe. It features simple embossed lines around the edges, and some small leaves in the corners, as well as the dotted frame around the center. It's meant to offer you a design that doesn't interfere too much with the rest of your card design, but still gives you some elegant detail around the edges.

That's it for now, but we've got 3 more days of reveals, so you don't want to miss out! All new release products will debut in the shop on November 15th at 10pm EST. Pop over to the Papertrey Ink blog for all the details on these products, and of course, to be inspired by the other Design Team members' amazing projects. Take care and stay safe!
Beautiful cards Rebecca! I especially love the gray along with the shades of ‘greens and reds’ with your deer! 😊
