Ink to Paper :: March 2020 Release :: Day Three

Hello Day 3!  We're on the penultimate day of Ink to Paper March introductions with a few more lovelies to celebrate Mom--because she really is worth it, isn't she?

Let's begin with A Mother's Love stamps and dies, which are paired up today with Charming Tags 1.  All of these products are so sweet--I LOVE the wreath that's featured in the set!  I used a complementary orange and blue color scheme, creating a background panel for the brightly colored wreath to sit atop.

I know that I'll be using the Charming Tags so much (I've already been using them on previous projects for this release), and I've used the smallest one here to hold the 'Mom' die cuts.

Up next is a new Go-To Gift Card Holder--Flower Pot.  This was the original idea for Beautiful Bouquet--it was to be the flower pot and bouquet, and then it all just took on a life of its own and became so much more!

The base of the pot folds up so there's room to adhere the edges together around the gift card slider (this coordinates with Go-To Gift Card Slider die).  The lip, or folded rectangle die that accompanies the pot, folds over the top of the gift card slider and then folds just over the top of the pot, with the slider tucking inside.

There's a little room on each side of the slider top to adhere the folded lip; I recommend using 1/8" wide SuperTape or very strong glue!  There is also a slit in the top of the fold if you wish to include stems with your bouquet; adhere them to the back of the Beautiful Bouquet background die cut, then tuck them in front of or behind the slider & gift card.

I watercolored the base of my pot in a pale blue, then stamped and die cut all the blooms and stems, adhering them to the Beautiful Bouquet Background die cut.  I cut out a BB Tag in Enchanted Evening, then embossed the message in white.  The message comes from a coordinating Beautiful Bouquet mini stamp set called Mother.
