Papertrey Ink :: Throwback Thursday :: How Are You Today?
Back when the How Are You Today? stamp and die collection came out, I couldn't carve out as much time as I would have liked to play with it, so Papertrey Ink's Throwback Thursday was the perfect opportunity to give it some love. I chose a simple color scheme to accompany this set of simple images and created a card that speaks to the idea of the set design: a quick note to brighten up someone's day.
After creating cards for last week's DT Tips, I decided to push the boundaries of my comfort zone again and this time, I die cut a round frame into a 4.25" square card. I even added a pierced border! I wanted to use the set's flowers in some capacity, whether it be stamping or die cutting them, and in the end, die cutting won out. The flower bloom comes in 6 different sizes for layering and I layered mine in Bright Buttercup, Hibiscus Burst, and Dark Indigo.
I forgot how much I love this little set. I haven't been able to use it often, but when I do, I end up loving what I've made with it. I hope you do, too!
